I doubt anything on the net would be as popular as SN. Do you have one, lookin to get one or what.We just got ajet boat for $450 with nice trailer. Needed motor, we paid 850 for one and so now we have put about 1500 bucks in and have a great running boat. My uncle has a 1200 Yamaha and I would HIGHY recomend a waverunner. Topspeed is around 60. Its also a 3 seater, but his old 2 seaters were I think 700s and they topped out at around 70 and could jump off of waves. Until my cousin tboned me while we were riding. I flew about 20 feet and both of the hulls were trashed... dumbass.

I'm trying to do some research...I think the Yamaha Waverunners is what I'll be looking at.

What I meant by "stangnet"...is there as site this popular in the jet-ski world as stangnet is to mustangers? Not as big.

Thanks for the response!

If your looking into used waveruners get one pre-emissions. The emissions equipment is known to leave you stranded, I know I was in the middle of a bay that my grandparents live on and the cat warning light started blinking and it wouldn't move/ I didn't want to mess anything up worse. Sat for 2,5 hrs waiting for a passing boat that didn't think I was just waving lol.

I'm still "new" to the 5.0 crowd, but this thread is right up my alley...

I own a 2000 Kawi Ultra 150, and love every minute of riding it. A good friend who I ride with owns another Ultra 150 and also a Yamaha 1300 GPR, which I have ridden on several occassions. I can talk skis all day long...

Let me know what your plans are for riding. Such as what lakes (great lakes, small inland, ocean?), riding single or doubling up with g/f or wife, looking to go fast or jump high, fuel economy or all out performance, etc. Then, I can give you my 2 cents on what to get.

As mentioned earlier, pwc today is a good website. www.ultra150.com is a good kawi website.

As for my ski, I have ADA o-ringed high comp heads, Solas intake, blueprinted pump with a 17/21 Solas impellor, TDR waterbox, Shredmaster rideplate, Worx sponsons, triple pis*er cooling lines, Hydroturf mats, and a custom seat.

If you don't want to post here, feel free to PM me. Oh yeah - please don't buy a Sea Doo.
