i just bought my 98 gt and i forgot to ask the previous owner what this is. have any of you guys seen this before? it is just hanging to the left of my steering wheel.
Anyone know what this is?

Yup, its for indiglo or glo gauges. I assume they are installed, it will make them brighter or tone them back depending if you push up for down

Wow...what an ugly addition to the interior. I'd be pissed if I ordered it and it came with that POS.
When i bought my car the person who had it before me had no idea how to hook up gauge faces and the ones he had on wouldnt glow or anything, at night i couldnt see any of the numbers. I got some new faces from ebay for like 15 bucks. Needless to say i wasnt a big fan and ended up buying a whole new cluster from a junk yard for $50.

the wires werent long enough to mount it anywhere else so i just tucked it back behind the dash. i dont think this will cause any issues because there was enough room for me to just bunch it up without touching anything else. i have no need to be using it daily so i figured this worked for me.
