The part has been discontined by ford and no one seems to have any left in stock. My car has had the hood recall done and two ugly holes need that insulator thanks for any help
Wow, I thought my Ford dealer f'd up by leaving all the fiberglass dust everwhere. At least mine took the liner off, cut the holes, then put the liner on over them.
late Model Restoration had them for $85 however they are out of them too. They are trying to find a new source. I did here that all you need to do to a 96-98 hood insulator was to cut the hole for the underhood light What about a junkyard?
This question came up while I was talking with tbirddmnd about a hood liner. I know the 94-95 Cobras shared the same hood with the 94-98 V6 & GT - was the hood liner the same? I presume so, but I wanted to check.
No offense taken sir! Just that mine will outperform the stock ones. If it's good enough for airplanes then this material will hold up excellent in our cars, and don't rot out.
