I feel your pain man... I got away for stangs for about a year and a half and it was a nice break from the insurance and gas prices. Also at the time, stangnet drama was pretty high and I needed space LOL. But now I am back and very happy with my cobra.

How stock are you taking it too BTW?

if i actually sell the car. it will be fixed, running perfect, and 100% stock.

will pull my shifter, headlight bulbs, exhaust, pulley, tune, ect. well, 100% stock minus saleen rims and bumper inserts.

Well, if you do actually plan on selling the car and taking it back to stock, let me know about your magnaflow cat back... You can have my stock exhaust and I would totally purchase yours... Best case scenario is you keep her, but lemme know what your plans are.

Peace

Not all the work smart guy. You should pay someone to put your car back together since you can't. Rice Boy!

From personal experience ... you're going to have to be EXTREMELY careful removing those inserts. The previous owner of mine had the chrome, I took them off ... was careful but the paint didn't exactly make it out so great.

No residue problems (heated up with a blow dryer, used fishing line / credit card to slide off) but you have to take it slow and make sure you don't overheat the paint. Mine started to get TOO warm and melt.

Bad.

I'd leave them alone, if you're going to sell it. That way you're pretty much set on having a cosmetically sound car.

im not trying to hide anything. when i do fix it, ill probably keep it. i love the car, i just cant swallow the fact that i pay 500 a month (for my payment and insurance) for a car that i cant go out and mess around in anymore. it will be a different outlook when its running normal.

Last I remember I tuned Bens car to 600+/- rwhp as a courtesy to KK.
Also the 700 that ben had was a photoshop much like the one you were showing off at the cruise. He also claimed to run 10s in the quartermile.

I still think your butt hurt from the fact that Bills car made more HP than you.?

1.. Bills stock motor, KB 2.2, 75 NX shot = 703 rwhp
2. Allens, Broken motor= rebuilt stroker, ported heads, KB 2.4, More nitrous=694rwhp.

Nothin Butt love

Hehe, 694rwhp.....all that with no full dyno pass. Looking at the torque numbers Bill is going to need to step up a bit. First it was blowing the tires off on the dyno, then after getting sticky tires it led to clutch failure as can be heard in the video. Bill is going to need to up his 100 shot to 150 (I know what shot it is after getting the skinny from Rrev.) Now if Allen can get a clutch to hold you'll see Bill coming in again wanting more boost/nitrous. Hopefully they don't start comparing non-automotive related things. Freakin dyno queens. lol :Track: <----sarcasm
