Went muddin a couple weeks ago in a lifted 70s Chevy 3/4 ton with a 454. cam, carb, and headers with only cherry bombs attached at the end.

Sounded pretty good to me, but it was obnoxiously loud after a while. And I was only in it for 20 minutes.

I have a thrush glasspack on my truck. Single 2.5" exhaust with factory cat (only 1 cat) and it sounds killer. would probably be too loud without the cat...

Yea prolly be too loud. BUT it would sound just like the stang in movie bullet. When he pushed in the clutch after a rev out in any gear it goes raaaaaAAAAAAA, and then that "back" v8 faart sound when th e clutch gets pushed in. Makes all the difference in the world. no tlike 4 cyl fart v8 FART! Somebody try it!

my dad's 68 el camino had glass packs when he bought it...the sound was horrible. I would never put them on a vehicle I owned.

oh man glass packs will make a v8 fart...and thats not good 4cyl 6cyl or v8cyl fart none is better than the other the sound is still horrible...nowadays I see mostly those rap star wanna bes in the lifted caprices on 28's with the 130hp 305 rocking glasspacks...I wouldnt do glasspacks...the decel noise is bad and the acceleration is a lil better but still not worth wasting money on.

My Magnapacks are dumped. So they drone like a bitch. But from outside the car, it sounds awesome.

unless you want your car to sound like a dumptruck then stay away from the trashpacks.

i think those sounded good especially the fly-by video. but does ANY exhaust sound "bad" on a full throttle 5.0? i dont think so. it would be nice to hear them at part throttle and idle.
