anyone running 03/04 cobra mirrors?

just wanted to see how they looked and what was done to make them fit?

Is the mounting "triangle" the same ?

It'll probably be like using the center console...it "fits" but a trained eye sees it doesnt really mate up.

They physically bolt on but without modification to the lower lip of the mirror they do not look right.

lol ive been seeing them alot lately at decent prices ive always liked them

precisely! thats why i was asking, just to see how people cut the bottom part... i just happened to be looking at my gf's brothers mirrors(he has 02 mirrors on his 96) without the bottom cut..

plus i wanted to see if anyone painted just the mirror or the whole thing..

i have done it and it takes alot of work to make it look good, but it can be done

I plan on getting them and shaving the bottom edge down to fit....

the whole thing definately should not be painted body color.. it would look funny....

i agree, thats why i decided not to go with the 03 cobra mirrors as i LOVE my painted mirrors, especially since i painted the wiper cowl

where have you seen them priced good?? most people selling them used think they are gold or something trying to get $400 used....i just sold a set for $200, and need to find another since i am rebuilding my car now

seen alot over at svtperf..... anywhere between 200-300
