Anyone running a 351w and Vic Jr intake???

Do you know the height off the deck of the Vic-Jr? I have the RPM and can BARELY (I mean about 3/16th of an inch) fit a 1-inch spacer under the Holley even with the Shelby hood and use the K&N Airstream. The tolerance is too tight, break an engine mount and trash a hood? No thanks.

I'm going to be running the same combo, except with Shelby hood and my original motor mounts are toast.
Doing the research on replacements I've discovered what you may already know....the 67s have a unique frame bracket/motor mount and that the mount is generally no longer available.
Many parts suppliers try to sell you the 68 style mount, which is taller. Using these with original 67 frame brackets raises your engine, potentially causing hood clearance issues.
Rather than replacing both the frame bracket and mounts to 68 style, I opted for these Total Control items for $200 for added security:

Those look really nice for 2 bills! You said they are "Total COntrol", you don"t mean TCP do you, they look very similar but different and cheaper.

I used the Prothane mounts on my 67, and the different frame brackets were discussed here recently. I don;t think they are quite as nice but they are about half the price. Here's a couple of snapshots of mine:

yeah, i found them cheapest actually at TCP:

the other option I found from Ron Morris Performance had more adjustability but I felt they wouldn't be quite as strong.
I really like those mounts of yours, but I reconciled that I would have had to replace the frame brackets :(

I was going to buy the prothane ones.they look AWESOME!, but I have spent so much on the money pit lately, that I need to draw the line.

I actually ended up modifying my stock ones with the 1/2" grade 8 bolt thru it..........it isn't going to seperate now.:D
