I picked up a Mark 8 fan and a new Fluidyne 2 row radiator this past fall and since it's getting warmer I'm looking into how this will fit. To be honest I wasn't positive these were gonna fit but I got a pretty good deal on both of them and I knew I wanted to upgrade my cooling system.

So my question is, is anyone running a Mark 8 fan w/ a 2 row radiator? Just wondering if it will fit. I took some initial measurements and it doesn't look like it will fit. Looks like it's going to hit the front part of the engine. Before I start tearing it apart I want to see if anyone is running this same set up. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!!!

mine fit with a 3 row radiator. trim the crap out of the shroud, and offset the nose of it to clear engine assembly.

Isn't the factory core a 2 row? Anyway i've ran a Mark 8 with my 347 on a stock radiator and never have any cooling issues.

I'm pretty sure the stock one is a 1 row radiator. Did you have to change your alternator to higher voltage?

Here is a pic of how I mounted my MarkVIII fan to my factory radiator. You should do the 3G alt first though.

I'm almost certain it's a 2 core, and yea i run a 3G. I had charging issues before the electric fan so i would definitely recommend an upgrade.
