But by adding a watts or panhard bar you're just adding weight to the car?

The extra 10 pounds isn't that big of a weight hit is it? With a three link it would be even less. But at this point I'd ask you how much added weight do you think that frame adds?

How much adjustment do you need on a properly designed suspension?

Depends, if it was a street car not at all once set. If you are producing a suspension that the ride height and many other factors are unknown you would have to at least have adjustability for the initial set up. Suspensions are designed to work best within a given range. Adjustability increases the useable range.

If it was a car that would be driven on the street I wouldn't even consider the use of that suspension. Well, unless your "core"...then you'd wanna piddle around with adjustments all the time to prove to yourself just how hardcore you are.

If it was intended for racing then you would need to have adjustability for differant tracks and conditions.

Ok, I don't wana get down on anyone ideas here but..... this seems kind of dumb to me. Why would you want to go and change all the suspension geometry of the Mustang. The way I understand it, the stock suspension has excelent geometry. Also, what benifits are had by adding a full frame to the car that couldn't be attained just from adding some top notch subframe connectors to the car ?
