We're looking at putting a 5.0 in my old 89 2.3 auto and we want to upgrade to a 5 speed. Does anyone sell a kit that includes all the necessary parts (ie. cables and pedals) or will we have to piece it together?

Sure there's conversion kits out there. I got mine from http://www.daves-mustang-parts.com/

Great guys, got me my stuff in a hurry. I went with a brand new T5Z for the tranny.

It all comes down to time vs money. If you have the time, you can save some money. No time? Gonna cost ya. I got mine from a junkyard for 700 here in HNL. I ended up springing for a new clutch and flywheel, so my total was a grand or so. It took me about a month to track down all the parts that the junkyard "forgot" to give me.

Thanks guys. I knew I could find the parts at a yard, but the mustangs get picked over rather quick around here. The mustang yard in town costs too damn much.
