Took my car for the first ride of the season. I am fed up with it being low and stiff with my ford racing springs. The roads are just too bad for this setup. Short of installing the stock springs, I figure a set of bullitt springs would be a good compromise.

Short of buying used parts, can I get these new anywhere?

It looks like those are the fronts. I'm sure they sell the rears too.

Mike, check with PPI. I managed to get my Bullitt stuff there a few years back.

Fronts..1R3Z*5310*CA

Rears...1R3Z*5560*AA

and yes these are the 2001 Bullitt spring #'s

looking at my invoice I paid $56ea for rears and $49ea for the fronts. The yare great to deal with.

Actually, I just found a set used locally with 30k miles.

Can't wait to install them and ditch the scraping ground springs

I think you will end up liking that set up, the roads are bad around here and I like the ride height on mine.

I have them on mine and love it. totally improved the handling, ride and looks w/o a huge drop which I'm not really into and preserves the ride. total win. The mach springs are also a good choice but the bullitts would be my 1st.

How was the install up front? Are they short enough to squeeze in by unbolting the spindle or will I need a compressor?

I used the Ford Style Compressor with the Plates and they went in pretty easy, Im sure if you experiment you could probably squeeze them in.
