Anyone use the Canton Main Support?

Building a 331 soon and need a girdle.

Its 1/2 inch thick steel And has a matching windage tray to bolt on it.

Are they anygood?

I like the Canton but........... it comes with BOLTS not main studs and after you factor in the cost of studs it is really expensive. The DSS girdle is very nice and fits great, comes with studs.

Well I talked to them about that and they said I could get it with stud's..

As far as the DSS one I know all you guy's running them really like them but the guy who's doing my motor Told me specifically to stay away from a Aluminum girdle.

The guy has been in business for 50 years and love's Ford's so I'm taking his word.

So anyways is this a good girdle as long as I use Stud's?
