just curious if anyone had any experience with this. Looks like laquer so it prbably goes on easy but I dont think it will be very durable or last a long time.

How good it looks and lasts depends greatly on how good a prep job you do. Sand the imperfections and rough spots using progressively finer grades of sandpaper until they are perfectly smooth. Clean it all with liguid dishwasher soap and water and then use rubbing alcohol to clean it again. Use the Duplicolor prep spay and follow the directions. Make sure that the temp in the space you are working in is above 70 degrees, or the mositure may condense out on the parts as they dry. Prefect prep makes for a perfect finish.

do it just like jrichker stated. i used it on all the exterior trim pieces..plastic and metal, and so far so good. finished sanded with 400 grit. i used the etching primer, and the clear paint adhesion. temperature and humidity are a major factor in the outcome. it tells you on the can when to use it.

hmmm would I need another additive for the bumpers since they are fiberglass? from reading up on it it looks pretty straight for and says it is a complete kit no mixing or anything. I'm not going down to metal except for the areas that need body work (little dings) and those I plan on going down to metal and then using the duplicolor primer. thanks for the advice. I dont have a whole lot of dinero so I am looking at this as an alternative to get it back to looking semi decent.
