Anyone used Discount Tire Direct's Free Replacement Certificates?

Just bought a couple Nitto 555's in 275/35/18 to replace my worn fronts. $201 a piece and the certificates are an extra $25 per tire. I opted to save the $50 as I've never had a tire issue that couldn't be repaired easily.

Just curious on your thoughts.

My first pair of nicer tires I used it. Saved me more than the certs were at the time. The tire was a BFG KDW tire and it had a nail in the sidewall. While I agree that we might not use them that much, that one time you will need it and have to drop 200 or more for a tire you might think twice next time. But saving 100 bucks off the top is good too, I wish you could pick it up maybe a month later when the wallet has recovered slightly.

I have and they are well worth it. I had four $120.00 tires on my Sport Trac and ran through a construction zone. I ended up having to replace two tires due to sidewall damage. It only cost me $50.00 for new certificates for the new tires instead of the $240 plus for two new tires.
