I plan on buying either the F-1 or F-1R.. I was wondering if anyone has either.. How do you like it?? Does it sound any different then the D-1sc?? I used to have a D-1sc.. Anyone know a place that sells prochargers for cheap?? thanks

Well right now it's a stock 302.. but i'm puting in a 306 long rod.. its gonna rev up to 8,000 rpm.. I want to get a f-1 now and just put it on for a little fun.. it was either that or a x-trim.. i like procharger a little better.. i just want to have a 9-10 second street car.. i'm in the process right now of installing a flaming rack manual rack so air pump, p/s and a/c is gone, and i can get the renegade f-1 setup

I won't be dissapointed.. I had my D-1sc on the same motor, everything stock heads/cam/bottom end.. I had it dyno tuned(by LaRocca's) and everything.. Made 390rwhp with only 10lbs and no air going through the intercooler.. I wouldn't mind so much throwing the F-1 on now cuz this winter the engine is getting pulled.. I just miss the feel of boost and the whining from the blower.. I will also get the car tuned again with this blower, so everything should be good.

Yeah, I hope that isnt a stock block. Again, even though the 302 is going to rev to 8000 rpms, you can still run the D-1. Those things are rated to 25 lbs and honestly, you dont need to rev a 302 to 8k to make power. I'm making 625 at 4900 with basic out of the box parts and a D-1 at only 12 lbs. how much power do you plan on making?

Well the 306 is gonna be in a Dart block.. Well as for power I deffinitly wanna make around 700-800 at the wheels.. I would have kept the D-1 cuz I planed on putting it on the new motor but I needed to sell it for reason cuz I needed money for a new car.. I just wanna go with a bigger blower.. I would like to put 20-25 lbs off boost on this motor.. Its already gonna have a 7.9:1 compression ratio cuz i want it to be a supercharged motor

I could have ran the D-1 yes, but i was worried that it would stop breathing at high rpms... the impeller speed for the d-1 is less then f-1.. 62,000 compared to 70,000.. so on a high reving motor the f-1 can take and the d-1 might be able to but it might be at or over it's limit

if you want a supercfharger for a high reving engine, then get a paxton novi 2000. That blower is just known for its top end high rewvving abilities, along with the r-trim and t-trim. As for an f-1, theres a 99 cobra in my 5.0mustangsf magazine with a built 32v that was runing the f-1. It had about 700-750 wheel hp and same torque. However he was in the process of switching it to an f2-r
