ANYONE W/ A VORTECH KIT ORDERED A MAIL ORDER TUNE? RESULTS? (THIS IS TEMP B4 MY DYNO-TUNE) THE QUESTION IS HAS ANYONE BOUGHT A MAIL ORDER TUNE SPECIFIC TO THEIR SUPERCHARGED APPLICATION AND SEEM IMPRESSIVE GAINS VS. THE TUNE THAT VORTECH SUPPLIES YOU WITH WHEN YOU GET A KIT. MY CAR IS GETTIN A FEW MORE MODS BEFORE IT GET DYNO TUNED IN MY FOR MAX PERFORMANCE, BUT VORTECH SAYS THE 91 OCTANA TUNE THEY PROVIDE IS SO CONSERVATIVE THAT CHANGING SIMPLY THE TUNE CAN GIVE YOU BIG, BIG GAINS (20+ RWHP) **MY CAR HAS THE V3 HO KIT**

I have a non-cooled Vortech V2. The Vortech-supplied tune didn't work well at all with my car. I took it to our local dyno guru and he netted me an additional 60 rwhp!!! Tune is still conservative with 14 degrees of timing and 11.6:1 A/F ratio, but the Vortech tune was just really super, ultra conservative (50 state smog legal and 3/36 warranty friendly).

Yeah, I guess I will wait till I get my throttle bady and then have the car tuned on the dyno. I'm happy that everyone is saying the same thing, just a dyno tune is around 50RWHP better then the super conservative Vortech factory tune... thanks for your input, I guess I will just use it with the Vortech supplied tune until I get the single blade throttle body next month!
