Well, I have had mine for over a year now and liked it cause it idled great, got great gas millage. Well, sometimes I had issues with my car not wanting to start. I have the car sitting while I am at school so It was sitting for about 2 weeks and I had to hook a battery charger up to it to get it to start. It started right up and took it out for a spin. Came back, chenged the oil, and cut the tailpipes off. Car started right up. Went to the gas station and got gas, car started right up agian. THen went to the hardware store 30 seconds down the raod from the gas station and went in for 2 min, came back out and the car didnt start at all! After trying about 3 times, all it would do is clikc and the fuel pump would prime.. :bs: So had to get a jump and it jumped after a while. SO i took the batery out, and while going that i snapped the ground cable that I have wired to the battery :notnice: SO I fig since its winter out and the car done get driven much ill just take the complete MSD box off. Well I took the batteyr out and had it tested at 2 differenmt p[laces, and both of them tested it BAD!!!!!!!!!!! :notnice: So I was like wtf...Im not getting anew battery till I am driving the car for good. Came home, put the battery back opnt he charger for maybe 30min-hour. Took it off, put it int he car and left it sit over night. Next morning went out and car started fine!!!!!! Was charging at a hair over 14 volts accoridn to my autometer volt gauge! I am like wtf!!!! Well, drove the car all day, no problmes at all! Next day it started up fine and worked all day no problmes. Today, same thing, worked great. Could my MSD box have been draining the battery that bad? Sometimes when I drive the car for a while, it will not start, is the MSD Box doing this? Anyone else have these problems? Thanx

If the battery tested bad it is bad.... if it has a bad cell it will eventually leave you sitting somewhere, and could take out the alternator in the process...

well it worked...but its sitting agian for a while cause Im back at school driving my truck agian. If it does take out the alt. its alll good, cause I got one this past year with a lifetime warrenty on it, and I have the receipt tagged on my post it board so I never loose it

I had a similar problem, but so far as I know it didn't have anything to do with my 6AL. I went through the whole car and checked all the grounds and replaced a few switches, then finally bought a new battery and it's been working fine for months. If there is a drain on the battery for such a long time and even if you fix the problem, I think it just goes bad no matter how many times you charge it
Good luck with it...I hate electrical
