anyone..........

I did for almost a year without any problems. It was the cam swap that caused the idle problems for me and still does on some occasions.

I ran the engine in my sig for a while with no tune. It ran surprisingly good, but it was definitely not perfect. The cam makes the most difference in how well the stock computer will adapt. As a general rule, cams with a 114-116 LSA are the best choice for an untuned 94-95.

As mentoned the cam can cause the most issues...I run the Steeda 19 and mines had minor issues as Matt mentions...If the car was running fine before the swap. it should after....barring any re-assy issues. You can set your timing... set the FP to around 38-40 and you should be there...Do some plugs chops and the plugs will tell you were the FP want to be...
Done this twice and hit the rollers and was damn near dead on...Theres not really alot a dyno is gonna do if your in the ball park...your gonna do timing and FP checks...

I did some ported E7s with a steeda 19 and upgrade to 24# injectors last summer, still have not gotten it tuned. It runs fine as far as everyday driveability, however, I know for a fact its running rich as hell, and it would benefit from a tune.

thanks 2L8ULUZ2, did u ever check your a/f ratio.....by the way I noticed Ur using a zoom Kevlar, how do u like it what does it feel like? is it super harsh. THANKS MAN!

I love the zoom clutch. I am on my second one now and there was not anything wrong with the first one but I had the motor out and figured that I might as well replace it. It has a almost stock feel to it under normal driving. But when it gets hot it will grab very quick and if you are not expecting it then it will almost stall the car. The thing with kevlar is when normal clutches start to slip under heat a kevlar will keep trying to grab under most circumstances. My old one held up to many passes with h/c/i with a 150shot of nitrous and 5500rpm lauches on slicks.

Been ruinning the stroker in the sig for 2yrs now with a stock cpu. I have a relative mild cam but I still have tons of idle issues, surging, bucking, etc. However, after I am able to live with it...it's really not that bad. Im finally going to a custom grind cam and a tune. Which should help. But yea my case can be done...but not recommended. however with the stock cam you should be fine.

IMHO :D

A good tune would .....

Give you huge gains in drivability

Give you more than noticeable gains in WOT power

My car still hasn't been properly tuned and it's been 3 years. I just took it out and it was 12.0 at WOT. At least there's still more in it. :D

But yeah, I ran on the stock EEC for quite sometime before I got the tweecer.
