Anyone's BBK LT's rub the steering shaft.

As long as they're the same size collectors. A 3" Prochamber won't bolt up to a 2-1/2" header collector.

I know that much :nice: but it seems like i heard that the prochamber has to be extended or something to reach the passenger side header...but when i look at pictures and such, they look the same. And i think it was "hear say" and that no one who actually had them knew for sure. Thats why i was asking.....

Hey one fast. Thanks for the pic. Did the 94's come with a solid steering shaft than the 95's. Right where mine hits there is a sleeve in the steering shaft so it can lenghthin and shorten when you turn the wheel.

For you guys with LT installed, was this something you were able to do your self in the garage some jack stands or is this something that your gonna have to take to a shop where they can raise the car in the air?

you shouldn't have any trouble doing it at home with jackstands :nice:

As much as I hate to reserect an old thread, but you guys that are having this problem w/ the steering shaft, do you have the 1 5/8" Primaries or the 1 3/4"??

I'm looking at getting the 1 3/4" tubes, but I'm wondering if this could be avoided w/ the 1 5/8" variety.

I installed my 1 5/8ths BBKs earlier this month, they had no clearance problems at all with the steering shaft. If the 1.75s follow the same path I can see how it MIGHT be a problem, just have to throw um on there and see... :nice:
