Im sure its been asked before but just how hard is it to swap an auto out for a stick, and about how much money am I looking at having to spend. Its a 94 GT and would just put a T-5 on there.

I believe it usually costs between $800-$1500 in parts depending on what you buy new/used. Labor=three or four pizzas and a keg of beer for a few mustang buddies to help with the swap. Just keep the keg in the back somewhere until they are done or you might end up with another automatic in the car...LOL

Oh and it's not hard if you are mechanically inclined but it is time consuming.

Hey thanks. I had to put a clutch in my ranger and that sucked with the transfer case and all so I know its gonna take awhile but I just wondering about cost mostly. And do i need to change anything else on the car or get a cutom burnt chip?

From what i've heard the car will run with the auto computer in there now but it will hesitate so i'd suggest getting a 5 speed computer, or possibly getting a chip burned. I believe you can also use a tweecer to change all of the setting you'll need to fix that hesitation problem but that will definately add to the cost of the swap. (but you'll have all of that tune-ability)
Hope that helps
