Hey guys...I was wondering what your thoughts were on converting an automatic to a manual transmission. I have an automatic 86 Mustang GT in which I would like to convert to a 5-speed. I am only 17 years old and have maintained this car with the help of the people on this forum so I thought I'd come here first. So what do you guys think about the conversion idea? Are there any people with expierence on this procedure that can tell me anything about it such as:
Does it cause problems down the line for the motor/body/tranny?
Does it look like trash on the interior of the car?
What do I need for the conversion?
How much Should I spend?
etc.
Ever since I learned how to drive stick I had always wanted one. Any help is appreciated and Thanks in advance!

PS the reason I wouldn't just go out and buy a stick mustang is because I don't have the money and I love my car too much to just sell it.
