After 14 years and 1 rebuild the AOD went south again. I've swapped in a rebuilt T5 and am pleased but have 2 issues.
1. The clutch. It ingages with the pedal about 1" off the floor. In order to get even that much pedal travel the fork is in constant contact with the bearing. Is this normal? The through-out bearing is already making noise which concerns me.
2. The check engine light comes on after reaching normal engine temperature. It did this last winter before the swap but would come on and off pweriodically. Now it stays on. I tried pulling the codes but get no readings. I've even tried another scan tool with no luck. I did swap from the A9P to the A9L computer but don't understand how this could be an issue. Has anyone ever had this problem?
