aode install, need help please

I'm replacing the transmission in my 96 gt and have run into some problems trying to align it up. It seems that the tranny has to be turned on its side in order to get enough clearance to stab but I still cannot get the housing high enough to clear the tc.

Am I doing something wrong? I unfortunately am trying to do this by myself with a jack on each end of the tranny.

I just realized my big mistake. I had the tc bolted to the flywheel first insted of the transmission. Oh man! I spent at least 4 hours trying to install it this way. I should have read the Chilton's first.
