Aode Stock Pan, How much fluid?

I need to know how much transmission fluid the stock AODE pan holds?
4 quarts?

Do you want to know just how much the pan itself holds, or how much it takes to fill the transmission up completly?

I am simply gonna drop the pan and install the new pan so just the pan.

Also, does the pan have to be tightened down in any certain bolt pattern.

I've changed my AODE's fluid twice and my 4.6L Thunderbird's 4R70W once. I have no idea how much fluid they actually take. I fill it, run it, fill it, check it, run it, check it, fill it, until it's holding at full.
