AODE to 5-speed swap...

I'm thinking of swapping the AODE in my '95 GT to a 5-speed. Can anyone tell me what years will work and from what motors? I get conflicting information from different "authorities". I figure that no one knows better than the Mustang guys on here. Any information you can give will be appreciated!

the 5speed trannys from the foxbodys will work as long as you have the proper bellhousing but their trannys aren't as strong as the 94/95's

What's the proper bellhousing? Are the V-8 bellhousings different from the Fox bodies to the 94-95 bodies? Also, will the Fox body pedals and clutch assy's work? I guess what I'm asking is, can I buy a Fox body parts car and have everything I need to do the conversion?

you would need a fox bellhousing for a fox tranny, their imput shaft is either longer or shorter (i forget) but you will need pedals from a 94-98 car

the imput shaft is shorter with the pre-94 t-5's so you will need a 5/8" spacer for the tailshaft. they are also not as strong as was said so if you plan power then you cannot put one of these in really...
