AODE to T5 switch computers or no

people who have done the swap did u change computers too or use the auto computer ive heard that u can leave the auto computer in as long as u leave it in neutral but how do i do that

I believe it will work to get you by, but you should end up switching to a 5-soeed comp. The AODE one will pull timing I believe when it would normally shift.

dont know about your puters - on foxes, the auto puters work fine (i know your and fox puters are totally different). the auto puter (foxes) has more aggressive timing curves, etc. works just fine in that application.

i'm pretty sure you will have problems unless you swap the comp. on the 94-95 it's an aod electronic and the computer will give you problems. I think it would better to swap in a fox comp when you do the 5-speed.

you will have to switch them. about the fox computer swap...don't really need to. with a proper tune all their issues go away. easier moding with a fox computer, but its easier to tune a sn95 computer. just switch it out for a 5-speed and be done with it.
