Has anyone here used the "Race Droid Pro" app for testing there car? I downloaded it yesterday and I am having trouble figuring it out.

If you don't know what it is, it's an app for testing 0-60, 1/8, and 1/4 mile times. And a bunch of other crap I don't know how to use either...lol

Any help from the phone app techy people here...?

I had some free time so I checked out that app for you. It automatically records your timing. You want to set your phone at a 45 degree angle. With the screen facing up and the top edge of the phone pointing towards the front of the car.

It needs to sit still for a while to get a GPS signal. After that it will give you a yellow light. Once you put it into 1st gear and launch; it will give you a green light and start the recording.

Hope that helps. If you want more detailed info all the instructions are under "help" in the app.

I've got the Dynolicious app for I Phone, I think it works pretty decently for what it is.

I saw a test that proved that app to be as good as, or even more accurate than a G-Tech meter. Surprisingly legit.

LOL. Yeah, its a pretty cheesy name. Like Nik said, it is surprisingly accurate. I used it to log an 8.30 @ 84.6 mph. A week later I ran an 8.33 at Atlanta Dragway.

I've recently added one called Dynomaster for my droid, unfortunately there is too much snow in Illinois to try it out. It seems pretty detailed though. Even wants you to include the cars frontal area and drag coefficient. It's also supposed to automatically consider the current weather but I haven't figured that part out yet.
