I checked the sticky and it looks like the ones that have gone 12s either use n2o or some kind of bower. I know the fox cars can achieve this with suspension, exhaust, gears and a few other odds and ends, but can the new edge cars with a similar set up?

The fastest I ran with just bolt-ons list below was 13.3@105mph w/ a 1.9 60ft, I think I did some suspension and slicks I would have seen the 12's.

-Cold Air
-BBK plenum
-Accufabe 75mm TB
-Bassani mid-length headers
-Off road H-pipe
-Aluminum Drive Shaft and Flywheel
-Steeda Under Drive pulleys
-93 oct SCT tune
-Stock suspension, engine, trans and rear end (3.27 gears)
-245/45/17 Nitto street tires.

Yes it is possible. As said before- a good driver, full bolt-ons w/ the right suspension set up and drag radials should make it into the 12's.

It is going to take a number of trips down the strip. Look on youtube and you will find a number of full bolt on stangs in the 12's.

How much more do the new edge cars weigh than a fox hatch?

My best NA pass has been a 13.16 @ 104. I'm hoping to get it into the 12's when I get an electric water pump and some new big/littles.

I have a 13.1 run. I don't know what was more frustrating, running the 13.1 or not getting to 13.1.

2 10th's to get into the 12's makes you a mad man. I think I was happier at 13.3 lol

But, I think with a plenum and underdrives, ill be there.

Full bolt on's, driver mod, and strip all the wieght you can. Get big and littles, and hold on for some hard launches. Don't be mad if your stock rear blows though
