IMHO 3.5" is harder to pull-off to make it not look goofy but it can look good. I personally think 3" is the best size though. I'm very happy with my BBK high-flow cats, I passed emissions with them 2 years in a row, and most people have trouble believing my car has cats since its so loud. Been installed since oct. 2005 and no problems at all so far

I have 3.5" tips on my magnapack system. It looks good you can pull it off but you need to have wide tires in the back so it all evens out.

Stick with 3 inch if you can in my opinion. I have seen 3.5" on a bumper with no cut-outs (94-98). They look fine if you have bumper cut-outs, like 99+.

Well, I dont think 3.5 is too big at all. I have 3" now. Tallmf are they TRUE high flow? Or do they just say high flow? Thanks.

I think 3.5" is too big - I've got 3" and think they look sweet - any larger would look goofy (rice) on my car.

I had 3.5" tips on my Mustang with the Mangaflow cat-back. I think they look better than any other tips I have seen. Unfortunetly I took them off to make the panhard bar fit.

so anything out of the ordinary or the norm is just rice? I just love how people throw that word around with no regard or thought into it at all.

Whoa - hit the brakes!!! Re-read my statement - any larger would look goofy (rice) on my car. I'm not dogging anyone else, but saying that on my car I would not like them. No harm meant and definitely not putting anybody down.

I have turndowns, but if I had tail pipes I would def have 3.5 in. They would look sick with my 315's.

You gotta look for clearance too , all depends which brand you choose. I have a bassani catback and tips are 3" x 21 "long, after that it goes to 2,5". Took them off cause tire was too wide and now I miss them .Get some 3,5" chrome or polished tips , which I don't know but they will look good and give you that american muscle look

Ive got 3" on mine but 3.5" looks good as well, if you go with that size, stay away from the "rolled" look imo
