Ive got 3" on mine but 3.5" looks good as well, if you go with that size, stay away from the "rolled" look imo

I agree, the 'rolled look' makes it look bigger, but the 'straight cut' (like I see on this thread) looks much better size wise

Whoa - hit the brakes!!! Re-read my statement - any larger would look goofy (rice) on my car. I'm not dogging anyone else, but saying that on my car I would not like them. No harm meant and definitely not putting anybody down.

I know your not but how does YOUR CAR look all that much different from all the other 94-98 Mustangs out there? Its all the same body style how could it look like rice on yours but not on someone else's with the same yr same color Mustang?

Here are a couple pics of 3 1/2" on mine. I like them pretty good, but if I did it again I would probably go 3".

The straight cut also makes them look bigger than the angle cut tips.

3.5 tips

Wow its been a while since I posted

IMHO either tip LOOKS great. And since they are just the tips you would not have to worry about pressure issues as much. However, if you wanted everything on the car to make functional sense, usually the only time a 3inch or above exhaust is used is when you are making above 300hp, at least given our vehicle specs. So if your car is stock and you have 3.5 tips, it may look sweet, but not really accurate. Car customizingis all about you, do what you like.

I saw a pretty sweet chart comparing various exhaust pipe sizes to supported horsepower.

You can find it up on the wiki - http://www.mustang-tech.org/wiki/Image:Exhaust-tubing-sizes.gif.

3" tips are plenty big. Go any bigger you are going to loose torque.

Your exhaust tip size is not going to make you lose torque. If so i feel sorry for those with dumps.

it seems like many people assume the size of the tip is consistent with the exhaust tubing.
