Are all ARP rod bolts created equally?

I was looking through summit and they have a few different varieties of rod bolts. They have the cheaper version thats ~$55 with hex nuts, and a more expensive version thats ~$85 with 12point nuts.

I am gonna be spinning my stock 351w rebuilt/balanced bottom end with ARP main studs to ~7000rpm, and will probably get the more expensive bolts just because I'm looking for any way to help beef up the bottom end at this point.

But out of curiousity I was just wondering if there really is any difference at all

all arp products are high quality, but you really need to contact them to truely determine what level bolt or stud you need. i would recomned their wave loc rod bolts as they are very stout indeed for your application, and definately use their main studs. in this case you are going to want the higher tensile strength bolts and studs since you want to turn 7k rpm.

I wouldn't buy anything other than wavelock bolts, or better. The cheaper ones like to lock the caps on the rods together. Makes it a real pita to get them off. Ask Jadesville about that one. He had tons of trouble getting one off.
