hello my 95 v6's fuel pump is about to crap out and summit has a BBK pump kit for 90 bucks that flows 110 LPH. i am also wondering if this would work for the v6 too. i am sure it would.

I believe they're made by Walbro, they're the top pump manufacturer out there. Walbro seems to make everybody's pump, and then it's marketed under a brand name.

They may all say Walbro but that doesn't mean they're all made to the same specs. I don't know if they're different pumps or just a general pump with different labels but the possibility does exist that the specs are different.

i was told that the pump would work on a v6 too but i am just making sure. i should call summit one day. the stock replacement costs 140 so i might as well get a higher flowing pump for cheaper and be done with it.

I bought a BBK pump and it did indeed say walbro...same thing. I'd get a walbro if I were you. I'm sure they're all the same specs - much how summit uses things and sells them cheaper than the manufacturer, but it's the same exact thing.

BBK and Edelbrok are owned by the same company, so that would explain why their info is all the same.

Speaking of pumps, I bought my BBK 255 lph pump last year, the car has been down since and the pump prob. has less than 5 hours maybe 10 hours max of run time and it crapped out - call it bad luck - but that kinda blows...

It should work, because you have to wire in the connections yourself, so there's no plug matching.

Look. The summit fuel pump is $9 cheaper than the BBK. I would go with that since they are the exact same thing. Itll work out no prob.

check out importpoweronline.com

I got a GSS340 for $85 delivered. That's the 255lph high pressure pump. Check it out, I've gotten a few pumps for customers cars there.
