Electrical Are CCRMs all the same for SN95s across the model years?

Are the CCRMs all the same across SN95s? I need a replacement for a friend's convertible project car, and the only official Ford one that I can find is an F6 part number, so if it's from a 1996 will it work on a 1994? I don't know if they changed anything in those for the modular engines. Thanks!

For the V8 engines, yes. 94-98 V8's all used the same CCRM. According to Late Model Restoration, the 4.6 used the same CCRM up to 2000.

Crazy.... was just thinking the other day about these. Was wondering if they could still be had....mines still the OEM unit....yikes !!!!
