Would be nice to get it to not take so long to idle down... do these work? are there any bad effects of using one?

They work!!! I personally made about 20 of these and mailed them for free to the first 20 people on this forum to give me their addresses. Every person said they loved it. It will fix idle issues and increase throttle responce dramatically. A couple of people still had idle issues (probably a bad IAC) but they benifited from the great throttle responce. Great part untill you get a custom tune, because the tune will do everything that it does.

Awesome just bought one... Tired of the slow idle down crap.. should make it easier to shift! any tips/tricks on installing these??

yea, I just made one of these last night for myself and works very well. Huge difference in the way the car drives...and it sound really good when you rev then let it drop.
