i have spintech prostreets and i am looking for a little less rasp in the high rpm's im looking at some mac flowpaths and was wondering are they louder at high rpm's and at idle
My flowpaths are loud and mean as hell, get alot of thumbs up and nods...even from some of my GM buddies...check the sound out at mustangexhuast.com thats how mine sounds. good rumble at idle, and mean as roar as you lay into it.
some of the rasp may be from the Prochamber...I've got a custom x pipe welded in behind my stock cats going into my ProStreets and I have no rasp (love the sound at 3500rpms)...remember Spintech recommends the ProStreets be used with the cats....but you can't go wrong with the Mac flowpaths...only thing though is that prochamber will make any aftermarket muffler sound deeper than if you had an offroad X or H
i had the same combo you have now on my car. The prostreets are plain loud. I changed my prochamber to an off road x with my prostreets......the rasp gets much worse. Trust me. I then switched to mac flowpaths with my off road h and am much happier. Much smoother sounding, very deep and loud as piss when you crank on it. no regrets here.
