I was wondering if having turn downs on my car was hurting performance in anyway? It sounds awsome but I would give up the sound for the HP & TQ. My setup as of now is stock manifolds, jegs off-road h-pipe, and one chamber flows.

I thought at low speeds or rpms it lagged more than with cat-back. I had LT , O/R H-pipe, and flows dumped. With the American thunder cat-back I feel more low rpm torque. Also heard dumps hurt you down low but help up high in the rpms.

Yes it can hurt.......

Your hearing!! :jaw: 1 chambers with O/R H pipe and dumps would be way too loud for me to drive everyday. Im sure "the man" wuldnt appreciate that. Now, I got the 450 HP motor in my 73 Chevy 4x4 LOUD. And my 72 Nova had header mount mufflers with dumps that could make the ground shake. But those are "Sunday Drivers."
