Are you serious

how is this ghey as opposed to all the hondas and nissans that people swap 5.0's and 350's into. whenever someone posts one of those up everyone's like "hell yeah, I'd drive that!" f@#king whatever. someone thinks outside the box and gets flamed for it.

Yeah, put an LS1 into anything and it's the coolest thing ever. I wouldn't say i'm brand loyal, i just don't like cross breeds of any kind.

I wouldn't do that per say, but I would gladly swap other parts of other cars into something of a different make/model. That to me is truly custom. This car had a good idea, but the end product didn't look great. Had they gone all out on it, maybe some better wheels and a cleaner paint job and I would give it the thumbs up. I am not a huge fan of cross breeds but to each their own.

I'm about 60/40 "true car guy". I admire creativity and i admire people doing what everyone else says can't be done, and i admire people doing things their way in the face of everyone telling them they're stupid.

It's just that other 40% of me that would rather see a hotrod Ford with Ford power than a hotrod Ford with Nissan power. I respect it, i just wouldn't do it.

:stupid: Tru dat Bro!

As apposed to what? 98% of the 1918-1936 fords on the street have a ****ing 350 Chevy in them. I am not brand loyal. No brand is loyal to me, so why should I be. I would not of done it myself. I don't like mixing of the brands either.

I agree with that too. But I'd much rather see another american V8 shoved into the car than a nissan I4 (or whatever it was).

While this isn't conventional, It took a lot of time a talent to do. I have a ton of respect for the people that can do these sorts of things. You can tell a TRUE car guy by the way they view other peoples vehicles. Sadly, most of the true car guys on this site are in the classic forum. Or maybe it's just age that separates some of us. Anyway you slice it, it took a lot of planning and work to build. I would of rather seen them leave it stock appearance outside and had steel wheels widened for more tire out back. Make no mistake about it. This car is faster than 90% on this site. (Flame suit all zipped up and ready to go)
Time, undoubtedly. Talent, I suppose, but again, why? Planning and work- certainly, but for what? Its useless, all that work- how long they woulda billed a customer for to do all that. What a waste of time, talent. It belongs in Popular Mechanics, for sure, but its a four banger Fox, and now the only people who can repair it WHEN it breaks are the "true car guys" that had nothing better to do than buy the very expensive stuff and make this morphadite. I'd look at it at any show I saw it at, and forget it by the time I got in my car to leave. Its faster than the cars on this site- sure, but I sure hope we're not building our Mustangs to be the fastest one. If so, we all lost(unless John Force is here somewhere). Reminds me of the Oscar Mayer wiener car you see going down the road, it took a long time to build, too. Rich kids...do us all a favor, make one that doesn't use gasoline...

If they want to go the long expensive way to making something fast more power to them... Just take solace in knowing that if they ever want to sell that car they will never get near the time or energy they put into it and it would be difficult to find a buyer when there are so many other cheaper was to go fast.

Personally I think it should have a grill insert of some sort cuz the stock bumper just looks cheap like that.

If they had a wrecked skyline laying around it was only time. Most the cars of this sort come about in that way. People use what they have at hand.
As far as getting the money back out of the car, It was a four banger to start with. If they did a 5.0 swap it still wouldn't be worth much. Most the people on this site will never come close to getting their money back that they have invested in the one of 2million fox body stangs that ford built. If they had a wrecked Nissan and a $500 four banger fox. They may have less than any of us do in our cars.
