Are you strictly a Ford person?

We currently only have Ford and if I have my way that's how it will remain. Current stable is:

72 Mustang Grande
2000 E-150 Chateau
02 Mustang GT

All other makes of vehicles that we have owned were money pits for one reason or another. Two Ford vehicles I have owned I bought new and put over 100,000 miles on them before trading or selling for other ford products. GM, and chrysler or import products have only lasted a year or two in my ownership before i got tired of paying for repairs all the time.

I don't have any brand loyalties - I like Fords because they are what I know but you can't deny the awesome power of the LS series motors that GM has been putting out.

To each his own - it's all about enjoying what you have and having what you enjoy.

Well I used to be Ford only-

Then I drove my current daily driver- the Lexus IS350-

I needed something with 4 doors- and wanted some power and heard they were quick-

Well I put down close to 266rwhp stock-
It comes from the factory with 4.12 gears and a 6 speed- it is also rear wheel drive

Then I read that guys have been running consistent 13.6s at the track with them stock and with a few mods running 13.10s and 13.20s- (intake and exhaust)

all of that while getting 25-26MPG- and having 4 doors-

How could I not buy it?

If Ford would put the 4.6 3v in a Fusion and change it to rear wheel drive, I would trade in my Lexus in a heartbeat on that-

I would rather own a Ford, but until they step up to the plate and build some performance oriented 4 door cars-
I wont buy one-

I love ford, but I'm not goin to lie, if i find a good deal on a 67 Chevelle ss396 or a 67 GTO i'm goin to buy it. I love all muscle cars, but as far as new cars go i will only buy an American Made car, none of that honda crap for this all american man

My current inventory consists of:

2000 Windstar (wife's van) 76k, 16 mpg in town

1990 Isuzu Amigo (my DD, bought off my college roommate for $300 who bought it new so I know the history) 196k, 21mpg in town

1990 Dodge Shadow (my backup DD, will be my step daughter's 1st car, her mom was driving it when she was born, I inherited it via marriage) 186k, 19mpg in town

1976 F-250 Supercab longbed (bought to fix an resale...10 years ago, needs the 390 rebuilt and installed, I'll likely end up keeping it) ???k single digit mpg everywhere

1965 Mustang A-code coupe, factory disc brakes, A/C, bench seat car (I've had this car since '87, currently awaiting a rotisserie restoration) ???k 18mpg in town with the 3-speed and 3.00 peg leg when it ran last

1963 Fairlane 2-dr post drag car (building this car as a Nostalgia Super Stock car, will look like a 60's SS car but will have more modern drivetrain and suspension, although it will have a FE in it.) likely 4 gpm when finished - haha

Probably will be getting a ZX3 Focus in the next year or so, a used one, not new. Need something that gets better mileage for the 22 miles one way to work, it'll end up being my middle daughter's car.

Your poll is a tad limited, it's either black or white. I'm not just a Ford guy but I am loyal to the american market regardless of if it is made better or not.

First car was a 1978 Chevy Nova nicknamed the cliff jumper. Yes, a chebby, I'm so ashamed. But not as ashamed as of my second car. A 1985 Nissan Pulsar, my only stray to imports. Since that I was loyal to Jeep as my Daily Driver and have owned several models including my current 04' Grand Cherokee Limited. My wife is on her second Dodge Dakota, first was a 94' and now an 00'. I'm sure she'll want a newer one soon enough and may upgrade to the Ram. If and when the time comes I wouldn't mind holding onto the 00' as a work truck instead of selling or trading it as the hood has a nose sculpt simillar to my 69' Vert and I always thought it would be cool to paint it up the same way.

have had..chevy.pontiac, olds.gmc, toyota.also... never had a problem with want anyone drives..

I am not a ford only guy(though I love Mustangs) but I am a strictly american only guy...I currently own
