ah, feeling really crappy all day, first time driving today had to pick up my nieces from school. go to put the car in first and it grinds like a bitch. aggrivates me, when i take off i do a hard launch and see one tires only spinning. then i go to pull next to the curb and do my first curb shot with my new rims. right front. its not bad, but its enough to make me feel even worse.

lack of power, problems with the car, and doesn't look as nice as i want it to. off days suck.

now i have to go to work and feel horrible for the next 4 hours.

Well bud, I just replaced my clutch and the supporting components in October, and now its rattling really bad out of the blue... Gotta pull the tranny again and do some investigating. We all have our little problems if it makes you feel any better...

yeah, little problems suck.
i know i'm causing more havoc for myself by driving it like i stole it.

late june i think i'm going to rip it apart and park it till i have enough to fix it. i work basically right across the street from my house.

got a bad fuel pump, got a bad power steering pump, think my clutch is worn from being improperly installed, first 2 inches or so of travel is soft as hell, like the pedal could basically bounce around.

hopefully i'll have it running decent by winter.

i'm half tempted to take a car loan out for a lightning.

haha. well, i actually talked to my dad and brother today, and i was kinda hinting at it.

but then we started talking about a different project. my other car that i have that i haven't been sure what i'm going to do with, and my brother and dad and i have been wanting to build a drag car.

1996 thunderbird, right now has a 3.8. we're goin to gut the whole car basically, and put a 460 in it. swap out the rear for a 9 inch, put a c-6 tranny in it, take out power steering, go to manual brakes, take everything that isn't needed to make the car go down the track, off.

after this project, we'll need a way to get it to the track. so then it will be lightning time. i'll have credit established, so my rates wont be horrible, i'll have money saved up so i can put a nice down payment on it. i'm going to just drive the stang and hope nothing breaks. i figure if i wait longer i can justify spending a little bit more, if i can find one with real low miles.

be awesome to tow a race car to the track and then be able to take the truck down the 1320 for a nice time too.
