yeah, Im going with the trickflow track heat kit.. parts at a time, so I just ordered the:

Trickflow - Intake Manifold, Street EFI, Aluminum, Silver Powdercoated, Multi-port, Ford, Mustang, 5.0L, Kit

BBK 75MM Throttle Body

Trickflow 75mm Intake Adapter

so I'm about 750 in the hole now.. lol

oh, and I second day air the whole shipment.. it will be here on Wednesday

Those parts make good power...can't wait to see it run

What would be cool is if you ran at the track as is...and then add the parts this coming week and run it again and see what you get

Make sure you port the street heat intake to 75mm if it isn't already so you don't an wall of obstruction...

I just checked on the trickflow website and the inlet on the intake is 75mm, thanks for reminding me of that!

Watson said with the parts I have now, the car is capable of 11.7, and remember my convertible ? With all the parts I have now plus a tb, and holley systemax it ran a 11.58 (was the best I could get it).. so now I have a hardtop and hopefully should be at 11.45 or so. :crossfingers: I hope the tranny will do right atleast on one run to get a best time.

Nice goals Yeah I couldn't remember if they TFS's were at 70 or 75...so I figured I would have reminded you but you would have seen it protrude anyways.

I figure John will get around 12.3-12.4 at 85 or so mph...maybe 86.

i'm hoping for 11.4's next weekend.. that's my goal. If i can run an 11.499 i'll be happy

Based on my 60ft and 1/8 times from that 11.54 run compared to the previous 11.55 run, they were a little slower on the 11.54 run. I'm hoping that if i can get my 60ft down to 2.0, i'll see 11.4's.. just gonna keep my fingers crossed and try as hard as i can, maybe launch at 2500 or so.

sometimes i wish i had a 5.0. think my next car will be a 95 Kewbra. thats all i ever wanted when i turned 13 and they came out. 347 stroker, some AFR 185 heads, gt-40 ported/polished upper/lower, a nasty bump stick.....mmmmmm how's it taste mother ****er!

of course i'll keep the lil ole 2V for kenne-belle purposes

alright mothers, i made a deal w/the queen. im gonna write a 5 pg paper for her history class, and in turn she wont give me any **** about buying mods or going to the track. SO,...how's about we all try to head out to the track this saturday, maybe even get there early so we can get a lot of runs in. i need to get my 60' down and get used to the 4.10s. my magic shift knob will help, but it cant do all the work.

so what do you think? i think a set of LT's and maybe some LCA's sound pretty good personally, but who's gonna be there?

Saturday is clear for weather, supposed to be below 60°, and Watson is going to install my intake for me on thursday or friday. He wants to get it done before Saturday so I can run it. Saturday would be great.

How do you like the 4.10's brandon?

just lower the rpms on launch. remember the engine doesn't have to work as hard to go now. You will get the hang of it in no time.

The wing is a '94 Saleen. '95 R wheels. These pics are before all the R parts I put on it and tinted, lowered, and S/C'd it. This was the day I brought her home for her first bath. The backgroun is at a dive duplex we rented for a year.
I'd give my '04 for her to be back, anyday. I miss the pushrod power.
