Jason - Yep, as Dustin pointed out it stands for roller rockers. Better than factory stamped pieces. Roller rockers provide less friction (on rollers) on the valve stem and the machining has an increased ratio. It's kind of like a seesaw that you have on the playground Your roller rocker is the "seesaw" between your lifters and valve. The lifters roll around on the cam lobe and different rates depending on lots of factors like duration (in degrees), lobe seperation angle (lsa), ramp rates, etc. The pushrod sits on top of the lifter and as the cam lobe spins it pushes that lifter which pushes the pushrod up into the roller rocker. As the roller rocker is pushed up on the lifter side the "seesaw" is then used and pushes down on the valve stem and valve spring on the other side of the seesaw (roller rocker). It pushes the valve down at the right moment during intake or exhaust strokes and allows air in (intake) and exhaust (out). Common ratios for the 5.0L's are 1.6RR's for aftermarket cams and 1.7RR for a stock cam. Much easier to draw out

That sounds about right Dustin. The ls1 also is 346 cubic inches and not 350 like the lt1. Also differences in head design, cams, intake, etc. Both got great potential

With fairness to all parties; keep in mind I cannot show bias.

Well tj me and john haven't performed a pi head swap but we planned on it this summer with his car. I did h/c/i on my car which isn't that bad really but it's just time consuming.

Here are a couple install articles on the pi head swap that might give you a good idea what you would be getting into

http://www.musclemustangfastfords.com/tech/0405mm_pats/

and the best IMO:

http://bossracing.net/Tech Articles/PI Headswap/PI Head Swap page1.htm
