QUOTE]

Don't worry.. It's coming

I went retarded and forgot how to launch, couldn't pull better than a 2.1 60ft, however I still managed an 11.35 with that. I just need to get my skills back and it'll be there.. 10.97 is what I think it'll be.. If i had some 4.10's and LCA's, I think it'd help me out a little bit on getting there haha, but i'll make it work with what i've got for now.. The GS-D3's are ****ing awesome out there for traction, not really much of an issue in 2nd.. no barking/chirping in 3rd anymore, even when I powershifted it I love those things

Speaking of 10's, I can't wait to see Daniel's NOVI run out there.. that mother is gonna be BBAADDD after he gets it tuned! MMMMMMMmmmm Novi.. Doesn't get any better than that in the centri world

Thanks,

Thats interesting...that car should run quicker than that (both E.T. and mph) if it had a 347. Do you know it has a 347 for sure

24lb injectors is a bit small, usually "set aside" for h/c/i combos.

Jason - Yeah, if you can get some good track prep like that one day...you'll get on down there I was impressed Matt ran 11.2's. 373's, prochamber, catback, 85mm MAF.

I think your car will really wake up with your new gears. You have to remember that you have stock 2.73's and your going with 4.10's. Also, your car is a convertible so it is heavier. Also, the 347 is low compression and is set up for a power adder. You'll be fine with some gears and juice.

yea, the 2.73s dont really help that much, it is just aggrivating i guess, i can smoke the crap out of the tires but it takes it forever to wind up on the track with those freaking gears i barely have to shift into 2nd, clay shifted into second when he passed me at the 60 ft mark. cant wait to get the gears in and the juice, oh yea and i am sure it is a 347, the motor originally had a vortec s trim on it, but like a retard i sold it before i ever even ran the motor b/c i thought i was going to put the 347 in a 67 mustang, my how things change so much!!

even with the stock gears you should still not even be close to finishing the 1000 ft. in 1st gear. Were you manually changing the gears?

What is your timing set at? Fuel pressure? (I would put it somewhere in the mid-40's with a 347 with h/c/i). What kind of plugs and at what gap?

Your running stock 5.0 times...and you and I know its got much more in it

Run autolite 3924's gapped at .045, run timing around 16*, make sure you got correct valve lash (i'm sure it is or it would be running rough)...

Good Luck!

i dont have an adjustable fuel pressure regulator and i am not sure what brian set the timing at, i still have the stock regulator on there, maybe that is part of the problem, i just dont like my car running like crap, i know it has a lot more in it that what it put out yesterday

The stock regulator is set at 39psi with the vaccum line off at warm idle. The computer likes to see 38-40psi ideally...but with 24lbers I would up the pressure to the mid-40's. I don't really think that is the entire reason...weird

Yeah I know it does too...you'll get it man...

Whenever I had that AOD in my car with 4.10's I was in 3rd when i finished. You just need your gears, fuel pressure, nitrous, and timing adjusted and it will run hard.

Oh, well neither one is hard to change. You'll pay some bucks to have someone do it for you though.

I am glad I got to run my car due to the fact that I have to go back to Florida next week. I really wanted to hook the nitrous up but I guess that will have to wait. Have you decided on a power adder yet?
