Arkansas Thread

Looks like Saturday I'll be able to head to r-ville possibly if some of you guys will be up there. Will see...the track is having bracket racing:(

Okay guys I think it's about time to kill the thread or start a new one:)

Yeah Brian I've replaced a few balancers. Easy stuff once you get to it. Getting the fan/clutch out of the way is the most timing consuming part. Just stick the tool on there once you break the bolt loose (5th gear with e-brake on) and remove and install. I always pushed my OEM balancers on with the bolt. Put antiseize in the keyway area. With aftermarket balancers they like to be heated in the oven at 250* for 20 minutes:nice: Your getting some things done on your car...that is good!

Brain, I didn't really want to bother you at work so I took your next suggestion:)

Polk Performance in Little Rock

A place in Fort Smith (a couple friends have been there but I can't recall:bang:). I'm probably going there once I get my insurance paid for and get my ported lower/longtubes on...it will be a couple months though.

TJ Tracy at motorvation in Memphis

Those are all that come to mind...

A dyno would be nice for all of us:Word:

John ain't scared to race nobody:)

I always thought a shop would be an awesome job to go to everyday, but I don't know if we would have the supply and demand to make it worthwhile and not a "month to month" type job. Does Arkansas have it in them?

I think dynos themselves cost 10,000 or so:shrug:

We would need a good computer tuner or one familiar with them to take advantage of the dyno.

I think we all have the mechanic side down for installing parts besides the actual machining.

Sounds like an awesome idea but don't know if it's practical:shrug:

I should be there on Sat. but I'm busy tonight with work.

i think im gonna be the bitch and not show. if i'm driving to little rock today and tomorrow, a trip to russellville might be a little much for the stang. we'll see though. i said i wasnt coming last week and i did.
