Ordered VT Stage 2's and Manley valvesprings saturday night (for those of you who don't surf the 4.6 Talk section) and i'll be ordering my SCT XCal2 from Modular Powerhouse with one of Tim Barth's tunes in about 2 weeks, then I schedule the dyno tune :banana:

Hey guys,

I don't check this side out much, but had a few minutes and thought I would see what was up? Anybody seen 5spd Gt lately? I usually see his posts over in tech, but not lately.

A little about me.

I have lived in Little Rock for 5 years now, originnally from the Springfield, Mo area. Have owned my car since 1993 and besides reguarly maintance it is pretty close to how I bought it with 36,000 miles, now it has 52,000. But I am buying a house in the next few months, it will be so nice to have a garage again after 5 years. After that I plan on pulling the motor to freshen it (mostly new seals and a head rework), plus new wheels and some painting. Not sure how long it will take, I am gettng married in November so still on a budget for a bit.

I was curious if you guys go to the track? If so, what track do you go to?
After I am done I might venture there just to see where see stands. It is mostly a show car, but I haven't done any of that since I moved here, just haven't had time. Hence the reason for needing new seals.

I'm still here...I'm just real busy as of late working 40-50+ hours a week and then got to have time for the girlfriend...so you know how that goes, especially since you are getting married, congrats!

Most of us here race at Centerville Drag Strip...

Or are those quarter mile times I saw posted ealier.

When is that strip open? I have heard about one there, but didn't know anything about it. I will check out the link.

Many mustangs run there?

I have only ran my car twice, back when I bought it. If I remember right I was in the upper 12s in the 1/4. I am sure I have it written down somwhere.

My car ran a 10.5x at 98.51mph on my first run after the rebuild, longtubes, and ported intake. It runs 8.4 at 87mph in the 1/8th...

Yeah, quite a few stangs run out there...it is a fun time...:nice:
