I know you said you wanted me to post pictures of my boyfriend's car in here, so here you go!

His 1987 Toyota Supra Turbo, a constant work in progress! The Mustang wheels no longer reside there anymore. It's not a showcar by any stretch and needs a paintjob pretty badly, but it's pretty darn fast.

Oh, and just a cool little "bonus picture" of my car. I think the effect came out pretty cool.

Thanks for posting the pics....the stang rims crack me up......adding a little ford love.....
What engine mods has he done and plan on doing.........?

There was a Supra at a local speedshop here that had just shy of 1000 hp to the wheels...............car was simply beautiful......some wealthy person paid to have it built stating that he wanted the baddest street supra around.......I think the intake was like 6 grand if I remember right......obviously he had some spare change to spend........

What color are two planning on going with it?

Thanks!

I know the bottom end and the transmission were rebuilt when he bought the car he rebuilt the top end. I'm not EXACTLY sure about the mods, I'd have to ask him. I know he has a K&N intake, 3" downpipe, ARP headbolts, a metal headgasket (since these cars are legends for blowing them), and he shimmed the wastegate. He has the wick turned up to about 12lbs of boost.

Well, the car is supposed to be Pearl White, and parts of the car are pearl (which I looooooove!), but when he got the car it had a brown fender, headlight and nosepiece (it was in an accident) and now those pieces are just bright white. The back bumper is also just white with no pearl (carfax revealed that it was rear ended, so I'm sure that's why) I REALLY want him to paint it back Pearl, but he doesn't want to, he claims it always looks "dirty". But yes, we will do the painting ourselves, like we did to my hood.

yeah, the fender stands out in the pic...........a nice pearl paint job and some nice rims would surely set it off.......keep us updated on the progress..

and you should use the pic above of your car as your signature.......

My wife likes that color of the Teal mustang I bought recently.......I am not too found of it but I think what I am going to do is go Teal with BIG flakes of Opal Frost in it....that way I don't have to do the door jams, under hood and trunk to change color.....
Her dad will be the one painting it anyway.....

I didn't like white cars very much until he got the Supra. Now I think they look great.

I don't like the Teal the SN95's came in either. I think your idea will be pretty cool, although I am having a hard time visualizing it. It seems like every other 94-95 I see is TEAL or WHITE.

But yeah, painting door jambs and ect. can be hell. Oh, let me show you my boyfriend's first project car... 1989 Honda CRX. It'll give you some perspective on his painting skills. All the jambs, ect. were smurf blue.

BEFORE:

AFTER:

(Yes, the car is going up a stairwell. It was that small. )

(His CRX, our buddy's Integra Type-R, and my Mustang)

That little car was so much fun to drive. SLOW, but wow it could handle. I miss that little car so much.

Hmmm... those aren't bad. He can't decide what wheels he wants. He has since gotten rid of the Mustang wheels (which means I got them back! ) and put back the stock sawblades which are uglier than crap. He cannot decide what wheels he wants. He is leaning towards white wheels, I think that would look great.

Damn he did a good job, my father in law always says how hard black is to paint.....looks pretty damn good from the pic......and that car had AUTO X written all over it............lol

So far as visualizing the frost flakes in Teal, I was looking at his paint book and came up with it......I had thought of just painting the entire car Opal , then I could have 2...

I still havn't ruled out the Lightning McQeen Dinaco Blue paint job.........my youngest loves the two stangs........I left the work truck at home this morning and drove the Opal to work, going to the strip tonight, and when I pulled out of the garage the little guy was on the porch with mom just grinning his little butt off, i rev'd it and he started to laugh........the Opal is his favorite....

Pretty much everything he paints is black, lol. The CRX, the front bumper of my car, my hood... The hood of my car came out the best of everything he has ever painted though. It has this amazing glassy look to it. He says he doesn't know how he did it!

I am thinking "House of Kolor" flake when you say that, by the way! That would be HOT! Here's a website with tons of ideas. I love this place. Kinda hard to navigate, but it's neat. TCPGlobal Home Page

Not really... that's why I got those Cobra wheels for my car. I couldn't decide what I wanted but I knew I didn't want the stock ponies anymore. I got those Cobra wheels so cheap I couldn't turn them down! I'm still deciding!

That sounds a lot like his car. 5speed targa with TEIMS.

He bought his broke as well. He didn't pay but $700 for it.
