Even if I did build one, a Lycoming or Continental engine will always be out of my budget. I'm thinking it'll be something like Rotax.

Maybe you can find an old cord or duesenberg or auburn, and pluck the lycoming motor out of a wreck. Yeah right! We can always dream!

I'm an eternal tinkerer and can't sit still. If I'm not working on one of my vehicles, I'm working on the house or in the yard. I've spent the last month working on the mother-in-law's house and it's consumed all but a few minutes of my free time (see thread update from yesterday to see what I did with those precious few mintues of free time).

Other than that, I'm in to cycling (road and mtb), I fish whenever I am able, and I started a homebrewing hobby that I've been threatening to reinstate for 2 years now but everything else keeps it from happening.

I play golf often. When I have free weekends I love fishing. I used to travel every weekend to chase Muskie and still want to. Finding free time to do such..fleeting last couple years. Keeping girlfriend happy,kids,and house remodeling lately has used up a lot of "free" time. I want to start tournament fishing next year(just semi local events) and see how I like it. Don't want my "fun" turned into "stress" so I shall see.

Hiking. Preferably as far from humanity as possible. Although, I also like exploring historic areas of towns especially with old buildings.

I used to saltwater fish regularly, but instead of dumping thousands into boat maintenance, it got redirected into a pair of fox bodies. Now the boat sits in the shop covered in fox body parts awaiting the day the river of cash flows back toward it. Until then I limp around the house doing chores, and have an occasional beer while petting my schnauzer. I like guns, have a license to carry and a small collection.. handguns, rifles and shotguns.

I take it the knee hasn't completely healed yet?

Not completely. It aches and cracks and pops like crazy. Better than crutches though.

Between my fabrication experiment that is my car, and my career I don't really have time for much.... I recently changed jobs, left the phosphate industry (got tired of acid plants and the like) now I work on the electrical and plc systems on the roller coasters at the Busch Gardens in Tampa FL..... let me say that this job even though the systems are similar to what I'm used to has a massive learning curve. One mistake and people get hurt because of one of my bad decisions and I can go to jail for manslaughter, so quite a bit of my extra time right now goes into research of the safety systems and everything involved with each ride. But when I do have free time I mostly work on the house. I also like to build model cars and travel as much as I can. Right now I'm on top of a mountain in North Carolina

I like cars, wait that was said before. ummm beer! chit. that was said too. I like going to the gym and lifting heavy things against the force of gravity. I love to BBQ, I'm getting back into softball too.

Well...I'm fat...so I enjoy eating. However, I have figured out that cooking relaxes me. Lately, it's a nice challenge to end the day. I love to cook new meals.

PC gamer, built my own rig and play World of Tanks, Need For Speed Most: Wanted, Train Simulator, World of Warcraft, Star Trek Online, Skyrim, and more.

I also rode a mountain bike daily until my prostate decided it didn't like me losing weight and coming out of the depression I've been in the last seven years.

When I have time I do paintball (going Sunday) or go to the gun range and burn through about $30 worth of ammo.

I also sell junk on Ebay, and buy junk on Ebay.

Try cooking beer! That's what you do when you you're brewing beer. That's why i liked it so much. I like to cook too. What could be better than cooking your own beer? Of course eating bacon while you do that, that goes without saying.

I actually have before! To be honest, it's quite enjoyable...even when drunk. Lol!

However, I really haven't been drinking alcohol that much anymore. I've had a 24 pack in the fridge since the beginning of football season and still have 6 left, that's with help from my dad as well.

Beer does take a good while to make, I just don't have time for that anymore. Plus, I don't want to bottle it. Maybe one day I'll buy the supplies to do it again.
