The Waterpump pulley from the ASP underdrive kit is touching my Romac balancer on the outermost tip... has anyone ran into this? why could this be?

When i installed my ford racing balancer i needed a spacer. i think you are having a same problem. ford racing sells the spacer.

The pulley's are designed for stock equipment. If the romac balancer has different dimensions then the stock unit then you may need to run the spacer talked about above. ASP pullies are among the best. I ran mine with the stock balancer for years with good results.

a spacer on the waterpump side? ive seen spacers for the crankshaft pulley... can i shim it with washers on the backside of the wp pulley?
yes you can i had the same problem and ended up shiming the water pump with washers
