i am trying to put my rear calipers back on and i was able to get the right side on but when trying to do the left side i cannot pull the cable out. when i did the right side i was able to pull the cable out about an inch, but i cannot budge the left side. i was wondering if anyone had and tips or advice because this is getting very frustrating.

first one is always the easiest. all you can do is pull like hell assuming its not frozen. Considering you have a 5 speed its doubtfull since im shure you use it. try using a side cutter or a vicegripe. good luck

it is a pita to get both cables on reson it has an equalizer 1 into 2 cables 1st one is easy other isn,t

its A MUST too have TWO people; get one to hold the cable with pliers or vise grip(just don,t crush cable) pull on it while the other person2 e-brake lever up then tell the other person1 too pull on cable hard while person2 slowly let ebrake down then put it into the slott; all while doing this, YOU CAN SUPERVISE!

it helps to have the bolt taken out that holds cable to frame, and the caliper must be off. for easier axcess, it also be a good idea to bleed the brake when caliper on the roter since your down there anyway

it is always good to have an ebrake
think of it this way 55mph no brakes 600 feet away stoplight with cars at itshock: : i will tell you "ONE HELL OF AN EXPIRENCE" luckly wasn,t on my stang, on my vw(waiting for some HE to blow it up. it also didnt help the ebrake cables 3 little wires on both they were rusted through.

Good luck
