Hi guys,

I was wondering exactly how you attach the starter wire to the starter. Is it a bolt or screw or clip. I need to go get it today so if you know the thread size that would be helpful too. This is for a 1968 mustang with a 302 engine.

Thanks

All starters were the same, IIRC a 5/16-18 nut. Be careful, the terminal is copper, and strips easily.

not only strips easily but the fastener is anchored in plastic from the opposite side

Have the battery cable unhooked before you do it.
