hey guys i was wondering if any of you with power windows could tell me what the wiring is like to the switch that makes the window go up and down. if you could check by just looking at your switch and telling me how the wires wire up to the terminals that would be awesome, well if you could tell me how the wires go into the actuators

Wireing...

Hmm, I controlled my switch ,drivers side, and its like this : If you look at the switches, from the upper rear side, PINK-BLACK-YELLOW/BLACK-BLACK against the front, and from the bottom rear against the front, its like : RED/BLACK-BLACK-RED and BLACK-PINK-YELLOW Red yellow comb. its for the window motor, and black is ground. GOOD LUCK

Hello again, well , another visit to my cold garage...brrrr .
Maybe this could help you : REAR SIDE OF THE SWITCH, the lowest wire, YELLOW-then YELLOW/BLACK. Front side of switch, lowest wire, RED/BLACK-RED/YELLOW-PINK. GOOD LUCK AGAIN,

thanks again, but does your switch have 6 input slots that make it looks like 3 cheverons kind of(^like that?) because if it does could you give me the wire order going from if your looking at the back of the switch from the top left to the middle left to the bottom left to the bottom right othe middle right to the top right? cause i get a little confused with the other things. thanks

Sorry that I confused you..Yes I have this type of 6 input switch. Well we try again, : Looking at the back of switch, Top Left - no con.
Middle L- YELLOW/BLACK
Bottom L-YELLOW

Bottom Right-RED/BLACK
Other Middle R-RED/YELLOW
Top Right-PINK
..Hope this is what you need

Just glad if I could help U ! Here in Norway winter is still holding a good grip. Lots of snow, and around 14 F outside. Think we got 30-40 inch of snow around our house and garage. But, in the middle of April, springtime is here, the sun starts melting down the snow, and the could nights are gone. Hope to start using my GT last week of April,if its dry outside. The Norwegian Mustang Club starts the season with a car show May.15. Look forward to warmer weather... ...and Utah is snowy too ?

hey guys i have one more quick question why is it that when i touch one wire to the terminal of my switch my window automatically rolls down with me pressing the down button? why is that?
